These are some of the most common questions we get asked!

The Magazines

Currently, we have two editions each month – the Bromley edition and the Orpington edition.

14,000 copies in total each month (7,000 of each magazine).

Our readership is currently around 30,000 per month, for both print and digital editions.

We distribute to local households in Bromley and Orpington. We also have 25 pick-up points across the Bromley borough. A list of these is on The Magazines page.

Yes, you can subscribe here for postal copies for just £2 a month (£24 a year), You can also subscribe here to receive your free digital copy every month.

We’d be delighted if you did! Please send us your community news here. We can’t guarantee we’ll publish everything that’s submitted but we will consider your submissions.

We can’t cover business news unless you advertise with us – see our advertising page for more info. We also encourage readers to send in their letters and comments as well as stories of ‘random acts of kindness’, pet pictures and anything that relates to positive and inspiring community news and stories.

We are a trusted magazine that people engage with. Our magazines usually have a long shelf-life because people hold onto them to refer back to for things like the community noticeboard, competitions and puzzles, the ‘What’s On’ events and of course the insightful features and community stories! They like to dip in and dip out of our magazines and sometimes pass them on to family and friends.

Looking after the environment is very important to us. All our magazines are printed using vegetable-based inks and on FSC® Certified paper. Not one copy is wasted either – any that are left over at pick-up points are then distributed to households. We also encourage readers to recycle their magazines after they’ve finished with them – or even better to pass them on to a friend!


We like to cater to businesses whatever their budget, so there are a number of different ways to advertise in either magazine including the standard adverts, Classified listings, Noticeboard announcements, newsletter advertising and even sponsoring an issue. Find out more on our Advertising page.

If you book just one advert, we will send you an invoice for BACs payment. If you are bulk buying adverts over several months, you can either pay upfront for the whole amount or you can spread the cost with Go Cardless payments.

Go Cardless is a simple, transparent and secure way to make regular payments. You will only pay for the number of months you’ve booked, and you’ll get a reminder email before each payment is taken. Yes, we offer discounts for bulk buying adverts – the longer you advertise for, the cheaper it is. See our advertising page for bulk buy information.

As well as the advert you pay for, all advertisers receive a mention on our monthly digital newsletter with a link to their website or social media page. In addition, advertisers who book for a minimum of three months receive social media promotion for the months they advertise for, as well as free editorial on request.

Keeping the magazines full of informative, engaging content is important to us. So, we only ever reserve half of each magazine for advertising.
