Lockdown life has presented new challenges for us here at Life In Magazines Towers, where we’ve been limited to going out. And, at the time of writing, with many shops still closed, we’ve been distributing most of the issues through letterboxes ourselves again.

Still, we can’t complain too much – it gets the step count up and the exercise in. Meanwhile, lockdown hasn’t prevented us from attending some business networking sessions this month. Thanks to the wonders of technology, we’ve enjoyed both the monthly Bromley Athena Networking event and the Friday Wind-Down, which takes place every two weeks.

Valentine’s Day was interesting wasn’t it? If most of us weren’t ordering a takeaway, we were attempting to cook up a storm in the kitchen ourselves. Talking of kitchen creations, why not have a think about treating mum for March’s upcoming Mother’s Day – and make some gourmet delights – keep your eyes peeled for next month’s issue for ideas aplenty!

Meanwhile, we were delighted to feature on the Mayor of Bromley’s Newsletter – you can sign up for your own copy of the newsletter at Bromley.gov.uk – https://www.bromley.gov.uk/info/200140/mayor

In this month’s issue we’ve got some great features – from improving your credit score and a new ‘Ask The Vet’ column, to 10 plants for your bathroom and social media etiquette rules, plus so much more. If you’ve got some suggestions for what you’d like to see in the magazine, please feel free to get in touch – we can’t promise that we’ll be able to run a particular feature, but what we can promise is that we’ll read every suggestion.

Equally, if you’re looking to get more involved in your local community, we are looking for ‘Friends’ of the magazine to come forward and offer a helping hand in distributing the issues. At present, we are only delivering boxes of at least 100 magazines, so if you think you can help in delivering them in your neighbourhood, please call 07403-550068 or email us at hello@lifeinmagazines.co.uk

As usual, we’ll leave you with an inspiring quote…

“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.” – Winston Churchill

Until next month, take care!
